Free kibbles

Government leaked bin Laden video leads al Qaeda to shut down web site, shutting off a flow of intelligence.

California city bans smoking in apartments and condos. Like second hand smoke dangerously drifts through walls. This isn't about smoke or health. It's about power, and these power-hungry freaks that want to impose their will on everybody else must be stopped.

Canada cuts off power to energy hogs assuming they are growing pot. This is nuts. If they suspect this, they should get a search warrant, not cut off power. They probably can't get a warrant on such vague information.

Retired Navy officer disputes claims about nuclear missiles flown over the US, claiming they must have been active and were being flown to a middle east staging area.

Putin says there is no evidence Iran is building a nuclear weapon. I've yet to see the evidence. I have some confidence in the intelligence reports, but they've been famously wrong before. I would hope that Bush would present evidence before any attack.

Hugo Chavez levels sin tax and luxury tax on items to stop his citizens from being like Americans. Of course, our government is doing the exact same thing to us.

Britain says it will remove all troops from Iraq by the end of next year.

Liberal talk radio host ties O'Reilly in audience size. This is good news. It should keep the government out of talk radio.

British judge rules An Inconvenient Truth must have guidance notes if shown to in British schools to prevent political indoctrination. Good for the judge. I still if teacher show it, they should also show The Great Global Warming Swindle too.

Israel to install anti-missile systems on all civilian airplanes.

Federal government considers buying waterfront land in Mississippi for $40 billion to create a hurricane barrier. Why only there? This smells funny.

Why would Congress pass a bill condemning the pre-WWI Armenian massacre now? Committee passes bill. This must be another Democrat stunt to hurt the Bush administration by hurting the country. We need to work with Turkey, not anger Turkey by passing a meaningless resolution about something that happened 90 years ago when Turkey was part of the Ottoman Empire instead of an independent nation. Maybe Congress can piss off Italy by passing a bill condemning Rome for enslaving all of Europe and the Mediterranean for centuries.

Reason talks about smoking bans in homes.

Reason talks with Ayaan Hirsi Ali.

Ron Paul suggests that representatives read the Constitution. Apparently he doesn't realize that our representatives don't give a damn about the Constitution.

Instead of getting the government out of education, John McCain wants to expand government education to unemployed workers. That ought to make the unemployed even worse of like government schools do for our students. Where is that power in the Constitution?

Vincente Fox describes a plan he made with President Bush that leads to a North American currency, the Amero. Article. This conspiracy theory has been confirmed.

Insect-like robot spies.

New Horizons spacecraft photographs Jupiter on its way to Pluto. What a fantastic picture.

Boortz lists many of Hillary's socialist plans.

Boortz points out that legislating rebates for everybody will backfire on California.

Dick Morris says Democrats like Hillary because she's a gladiator. I guess it doesn't matter that she's never won a battle. Her health care plan went down in flames. Clinton was impeached.

Democrats are running away from the Iraq war issue. That's because Gen. Petraeus has turned the war in our favor and Democrats have been exposed for the slimy defeatists they are - willing to defeat their own country for some ephemeral political gain. If Democrats had helped win the war in Iraq, instead of trying to defeat us, our troops might be coming home already. As Democrats start their socialist domestic programs, they will further alienate Americans like they did by trying to defeat us in Iraq. As bad as Republicans have been, Democrats are proving worse, and voters will see it.

John Stossel shows how doctors compete, lowering prices and improving service, when patients pay for their own health care. That's how it's supposed to work.

Walter Williams supports Rush Limbaugh against Harry Reid and the left's misrepresentation of his "phony soldiers" comment.

Belgium as a model for the EU.
