While Turkey is wracked by protests, ostensibly about a shopping mall but really about the government's aggression against Syria, the Turkish PM blames social media for unrest.

Shiites want to kill Sunnis. Or do I have that backwards? It goes both ways. This has been true for at least 100 years. The only change is Americans have been stupid enough to allow our government to send them into this 1000 year old civil war to die and make enemies for the rest of us.

The reason the US is allied with al Qaeda in Syria is Israel is allied with al Qaeda in Syria.

I don't believe the world is on the brink of total war because nobody will pay for it. The Chinese won't lend the US money to go to war with it. The Fed can't print money to pay for it, that will only destroy dollar immediately. In WWI, countries had real economies and gold for currency. Not today.
