In internal Labor party politics, former Australian Prime Minister Rudd handily
ousts sitting Prime Minister Gillard. Gillard is best known for campaigning on a platform against a carbon tax then immediately implementing a carbon tax as soon as she took office. She advanced
highly unpopular gun bans and attempted to
seize control of the internet. She also wanted to
ban betting of sports events. Talk about a tyrant in a democrat's clothes. Apparently before this vote, both candidates
agreed to quit politics if they lost. Let's see if the infamously lying Gillard keeps her word. Rudd explains why this contest occurred:
"Rudd said he was standing in the ballot – contrary to his previous
assurances – because Labor was “on course for a catastrophic defeat
unless there is change” and Australians “want a real choice”."
Gillard's lying and tyrannical policies had guaranteed a historic loss for her party.
Gillard quits, for now.
Fifty-seven percent of Ohioans
disapprove of Obama. That's all? What took so long?
