I don't see how centralizing operations saves taxpayers money. It's just more waste and corruption.
Contrary to this report, Oakwood schools don't pay teachers based on merit. Some benchmarks supposedly associated with merit have some influence on raises. That's not merit pay.
More development near Dayton Mall. The lack of government around there and the exceptional corruption, and despite the joint taxation district, seems to attract business.
The Dayton library wants to spend its new levy, which it should never have received, on building a new, showcase location in one of the worst parts of Dayton where it will quickly be destroyed.
