Local

Dayton's outrageous proposal for aircraft surveillance over the city made it into the Russian Times. Dayton can be known world-wide as the leader in invasive, ubiquitous surveillance greater than the Soviets ever dreamed of. Wouldn't that be wonderful?

Local government uses tax dollars to lobby for federal tax dollars then hides the details.
"Leftwich, the former director of the Dayton Development Coalition, was paid $114,850 over 13 months to help convince the Federal Aviation Administration to designate the Dayton-Springfield area as a testing site for unmanned aerial vehicles."
I don't want that. I thought we were the government.
