Right to Keep and Bear Arms

While gun crime has been steadily falling, gun restrictions have rapidly increased.
"The number of federally required background checks of prospective gun purchasers has nearly doubled in the past decade — a time when violent crime has been in long decline in many places across the USA, according to FBI records."
Obviously this makes no sense from a policy point of view, but it makes perfect sense from a looting point of view. Gun freedom has led to consistently lower violent crime rates, and the government can't stand that. It needs crime to justify itself, so it's increasing gun control to increase crime.

Federal Appeals Court overturns Illinois concealed carry ban. Don't hold your breath.
