Just as predicted, the wind is
knocking out power to people. You might think it was so commonplace that wind knocked out power, the power company would make changes to to keep that from happening, but not when the power company is protected from competition by government. More info.
"“When winds exceed 40 mph we anticipate problems, including tree limbs
hitting power lines or uprooted trees falling and taking down lines,”
the company said in a release Wednesday."
It's just amazing that we tolerate this.
