Free kibbles

TAX AND SPEND:

Tax season is a good time to remember that Karl Marx inspired our progressive income tax and that anybody who supports that income tax, which mean all Democrats and Republicans, support a major plank of Marx's agenda.

REGULATION:

The federal government has allocated $45 billion to contest money for patents. This ties more bright people to the government, empowering the coercive state.

The feds sue Apple and publishers claiming collusion to raise ebook prices. This is another case where government is claiming to solve a problem created by government. The problem is copyright. Without government's coercive copyright law, ebooks would be virtually free for everybody to share, but because of copyrights, only publishers can produce ebooks, enabling them to jack up prices.

FEDERAL RESERVE:

Bernanke is against the gold standard because it limits government's ability to manipulate the economy. That's why it's a good thing! Bernanke doesn't see the government or the Fed as the creator of bubbles and recessions. He sees them as the solution, but they are the problem. This is an excellent deconstruction of Bernanke's mistaken beliefs.

EDUCATION:

Tennessee schools to teach creationism. Government schools are bastions for miseducating children, so why not? Pretty soon they'll teach students that 2+2 sometimes equals 3 or 5, depending on your perspective, and that we all have to be tolerant of other's views on 2+2.

HEALTH CARE:

Scientists used to believe that DNA was the brains of a cell, and that it was rigid, but new science has shown that DNA works more like a tool chest and cell membranes choose which tools to use based on external stimuli. If you choose a healthy lifestyle, your cells will respond with healthy gene expression.

For once I'm with the FDA: farmers should not give animals anti-biotics. But this is another problem caused by government. If we had a free market in food production, the American people wouldn't buy food from these animals raised in this unhealthy fashion.

GLOBAL WARMING AND ENERGY:

Yet another fraudulent paper by global warming pseudo-scientists exposed, this time about the AMO.

POLICE STATE:

Florida special prosecutor charges Zimmerman with second degree murder. Here we go again with the bias:
"Zimmerman, 28, a white Hispanic neighborhood watch captain, shot and killed Martin, who was 17 and black, on Feb. 26 after following the teenager for several minutes."
A white Hispanic. I wonder if they call President Obama a white black president. Zimmerman had a recent history of calling to report what he called suspicious blacks in his neighborhood.

How a scorned FBI agent used Woodward and Burnstein to expose Watergate so he could become FBI director.

Will Grigg brings up several cases when white cops killed unarmed blacks, but there was no national outrage to make the case that, nationally, the media and provocateurs who capitalize on these incidents don't challenge the government.

POLITICS:

Once again channel 19 out of Cincinnati has a reality check segment showing Ron Paul is still in contention in the delegate battle with Mitt Romney. This is the third segment countering the dishonest actions of other media outlets, and the honest reporting supports Ron Paul. So Santorum's daughter's health played a big role in his decision as I suspected.

Maybe Santorum dropped out partly because he feared losing his home state of Pennsylvania, where he was ousted as Senator. Boortz blames Santorum for driving women to Obama. Here's a nice little reminder that all these freaks are out for personal gain:
"By the way .. Santorum never once uttered the name “Romney” during his speech. Not one. Now there’s our team player. What a guy! My guess? Santorum doesn’t say anything nice about Romney until Romney hands over some money to pay off Santorum campaign debts."
And why not? The rest of are too, but we advance our interests by cooperating with others to advance their interests too.

It looks like Ron Paul got well over the 3,000 reported at Texas A&M.

Because the establishment unsuccessfully tried to steal a caucus from Ron Paul in Missouri, the caucus was redone. Paul won.

This is a great quote until you realize it was said by Thomas Sowell who continues to vote Republican.
"How long do politicians have to keep on promising heaven and delivering hell before people catch on, and stop getting swept away by rhetoric?"
When will Sowell catch on and stop voting for Republicans or Democrats?
"Some people are puzzled by the fact that so much that is said and done by politicians seems remote from reality. But reality is not what gets politicians elected. Appearances, rhetoric and emotions are what get them elected. Reality is what the voters and taxpayers are left to deal with, as a result of electing them."
Another quote that applies to Republicans as well as Democrats, but Sowell still advocates for Republicans.
"Whatever the ideology or rhetoric of the political left, their agenda around the world has been preempting other people's decisions and regimenting their lives."
Do you think Sowell forgot that George Bush - the self-proclaimed decider - and Republicans forced Medicare Part D, No Child Left Behind, Welfare for Corporate Farmers, and a myriad of other programs that stole our freedom on us? Of course not. He's being a willing propagandist for the right, and he should be ashamed of himself.
"Different people prefer different exercises. The Republicans' favorite exercise is running for the hills. The Democrats' favorite exercise is kicking the can down the road."
Give me a break. Do you think Thomas Sowell forgot that Bush and Republicans controlled the presidency, the House and the Senate from 2002 to 2006 and during that time, greatly increased government spending? Of course not. He's being a willing propagandist for the right, and he should be ashamed of himself. The two parties work together to divide, conquer and loot us, and Sowell knows it and assists with these divisive propaganda. I would like to see Sowell help unite Americans against our conquerers instead of helping divide them so our conquerers can loot ever more from us.

MEDIA:

Now that Santorum is gone, the media's strategy against Romney is in plain view: no matter what he says, say he stumbled.
"Less than a day into the U.S. general election campaign, probable Republican nominee Mitt Romney stumbled on a key issue on Wednesday in an early warning that he needs to sharpen up quickly to compete with President Barack Obama."
Now matter how often or badly Obama screws up, downplay it and call his campaign a well-oiled machine.
"Romney is now under pressure to show he can take on Obama's well-organized campaign, after main Republican rival Rick Santorum quit the White House race on Tuesday and left the former Massachusetts governor as the presumptive nominee."
This will be the media mantra until either Romney loses his status as presumptive nominee, or until November. Get used to is.

MISC:

Another big earthquake, 7.0, in Mexico after a 5.9 quake off the Oregon coast and an 8.9 west of Indonesia. Thank goodness it didn't repeat the 2004 tsunami. The ring of fire is on fire.
