Free kibbles

RIGHT TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS:

The political history of stand your ground laws.

REGULATION:

I find it hard to believe that the cost of regulation was only $1.75 trillion in 2010.

HEALTH CARE:

Just as with education, more government spending on health care doesn't produce better results. That's because the patient is the invisible man in the system.

A conservative estimate of Obamacare's unfunded liability is double that of Social Security.

It's absolutely insane and antithetical to the founding principles of America that the liberty of 310 million Americans is in the hands of one man: Justice Kennedy as the swing vote on Obamacare. If government can force you to buy health care, it can force you to do anything.

GLOBAL WARMING AND ENERGY:

Remember global warming was blamed for killing coral reefs? Turns out it was a herpes virus.

Mercury from power plants tends to join the background mercury instead of settling into the environment near the power plants.

On the economic role of the oil speculator and other economic fallacies.
"Prices are simply signals telling us to produce more or less. The only answer to high prices is flexibility for those who produce."
High gas prices are telling us to produce more energy, but government won't let us.

POLICE STATE:

The Supreme Court upholds prison strip searches for minor offenses on 5-4 vote. Thanks Republicans. Here's a little bit on the case involved.
"Albert W. Florence is black. He's the man who was arrested, held in jail for 8 days for a fine he had proof of paying, and subjected to two strip searches."
No good deed goes unpunished by government.

FBI investigating the Trayvon Martin case for civil rights violations. Every murder is a violation of the civil right to life, so I guess the FBI now investigates all murders.

WAR:

Sex crimes against women in the military increase. Who didn't see this coming? I guarantee crimes against gays in the military are rapidly rising as well. It was absolutely absurd to inject sexual tensions into the life and death struggles of combat.

With the US government overtly providing funding and equipment to Syrian rebels, this puts us at war with Syria.

POLITICS:

A new poll shows that Obama does better than Romney in swing states because of a recent shift by women. Picking that birth control battle was well calculated.

Obama is indisputably the lyingest president in my lifetime.

MEDIA:

Remember when the media made a big deal about the video of Zimmerman in the police station supposedly not having any injuries? Enhanced video shows the back of Zimmerman's head is injured. The media is acting as a lynch mob in this case.

LOCAL:

Politicians stealing money from three local business districts, Austin Landing, Dayton Mall and the Dayton Wright Brother's airport. That's what these Joint Economic Development Districts (JEDD) are.

MISC:

Hackers steal 1.5 million credit card numbers.

Hunting exotic animals in Texas preserves those species.
"One hunter, Paul, told Lara Logan of 60 Minutes, "The money that I spend to hunt these animals keeps these animals alive on these ranches.""
Absolutely.

Claim that the danger from high Muslim birthrates has been greatly exaggerated. That may be true from a global perspective, but Muslims in Europe are rapidly replacing declining populations of native Europeans. But the welfare state will quash Muslim birth rates in Europe the same way it's quashing European and American birth rates.
