Free kibbles

ECONOMY:

American teens, being forced from the work force by regulation, are becoming a threat to the regime.

TAX AND SPEND:

As if anybody is surprised, all six Democrats appointed to the super-congress deficit commission were given an F grade by the National Taxpayers Union. Who would have expected anything else? The purpose of this commission was to raise taxes. Democrats named the biggest tax raisers they could come up with. The Republicans named a bunch of establishment tools they expected to agree to raise taxes. The commission will suggest a number of pseudo-spending cuts (showdowns in increasing spending) that will never happen in the real world in return for the new taxes. The reason the leadership of both parties created this commission was to raise taxes and pretend to cut spending while cutting the few tea partiers who happen to actually want to cut spending out of the process. Otherwise it wouldn't exist. It's a scam.

REGULATION:

What if, 20 years ago, some doofus had patented the web? Neither you nor I would be here.

HEALTH CARE:

The next step in the establishment's plan to destroy the small farmer is force farm workers to get commercial drivers licenses to drive tractors and all the burden of government that entails.

The FDA attacks strawberry farmers for making teenagers "stoop and stand" to collect berries.

Appeals Court strikes down Obamacare individual mandate.

POLICE STATE:

San Francisco shuts down cell phone service in an attempt to block protests.

FOREIGN POLICY:

The independence of South Sudan didn't stop violence on the border.

POLITICS:

Koch's try to ingratiate themselves with Ron Paul.

Montage of Ron Paul's answers at the debate. He was very good. It was good to see him show more passion. Many outlets are now calling Ron Paul the focus of the Iowa debate. That's a great thing. Even Karl Rove thinks Paul might win the Iowa straw poll tomorrow. The Washington Post says the same. The establishment has been in damage control mode since 2008. If Ron Paul wins this straw poll, they will go into attack mode.

Ron Paul kicks butt in this interview at the Iowa State Fair.

Rush comes out strongly for big government Republicans by claiming Ron Paul will destroy the Republican party.

The Texas population is over 25 million, but governor Rick Perry is taking credit for creating jobs. What a joke. The Texas governor is weak compared to most governors, so Perry has been unable to stop job growth by private entrepreneurs like most. He didn't create anything. Fortunately for the people of Texas, he has little power to hinder job growth.

I've read lots of praise for Michelle Bachmann's handling of the question of whether or not she would be submissive to her husband, but I don't share it. That praise of from self-serving, male establishment types. Boortz starts to get it right by attacking the question and questioner. I don't believe anybody asked any other candidate if they would be submissive to their wives. I don't remember anybody asking Hillary if she would be submissive to Bill, but that was an ongoing issue about her campaign. Not so much because she was a woman but because Bill had been a two term president. But to the best of my knowledge, the question was never put to her. Michelle Bachmann should have taken her microphone and stuffed it down the mouth of the person who asked that question. If somebody had asked me that question in a presidential debate, that's what I would have done (figuratively). Any lesser response is submissive. And frankly, I would have loved to see the women in the audience rise up en mass and peacefully deny that questioner any opportunity for more questions. I would have loved to see Michelle Bachmann call on the women in the audience to respond by swarming the questioners. If Bachmann had done that, this election would be over.

MEDIA:

The New York Times shows Rick Perry with the same kind of messianic backlighting it used to promote Obama. That means the establishment has picked Perry as their Republican candidate of choice. You can be sure that whichever Republican wins the nomination, afterwards, all pictures of Obama will be messianic like this and all pictures of the Republican will be denigrating.
