ECONOMY:

The volatility of the stock market is an indication we're in uncharted economic territory.

Don't believe what the establishment tells you about what moves the market. How specialists control the stock market.

The establishment wants us to believe that Pat Toomey, who John Boehner appointed to the deficit commission, is a tea partier when in fact he's just another establishment Republican. None of the deficit commission members are from the tea party. The whole point of the deficit commission was to reduce the power of the tea party and increase the power of the establishment.
"The Democratic and Republican leaders in the House and Senate each appear to have had a common goal in choosing members for the new Joint Select Committee on Deficit Reduction: They picked top lieutenants and allies, lawmakers they can trust not to go their own way and to cut a deal only with the leaders' blessing — or, more likely, their fingerprints.
"I don't really see you'll be getting anybody going rogue in this group," said David Walker, the former U.S. comptroller general who now heads the Comeback America Initiative, a budget watchdog group.
There are no members on the panel who championed the various deficit reduction efforts that took place outside of the leadership's auspices — no senators from the Gang of Six, for example. None stand out as political mavericks.
The resulting committee is less a band of brothers willing to strike a deal on deficit reduction and more an extension of the leadership foursome who will decide whether there is a deal to be struck."
Of course. Who would expect anything different?

TAX AND SPEND:

Budget deficit tops $1 trillion for the third straight year. One of the important things to remember is that first trillion dollar deficit belonged to Bush.

FEDERAL RESERVE:

Obama's regulations force another business to close.

POLICE STATE:

It used to be that liberals always claimed to look for root causes of violence. Now conservatives are pointing to welfare as the cause of the London riots. Another blames the bankers.

Remember how when governments in the Middle East and China shut down social networking to stop riots, the governments were evil? It's not evil when the British government does it.

POLITICS:

I predict that this election, campaign ads will turn off more voters than they turn on. There's a natural limit to the power spending on campaigns, and that limit is when ads go from working in the candidates' favor to working against them.

Claim that if Ron Paul wins the Ames straw poll, it will discredit the poll, not boost his chances of being nominated. It sounds like Paul is throwing a huge shin-dig, not a campaign event.

I'm not completely disagreeing with your statement about Toomey, but he did vote against the Debt Ceiling Increase.
