Free kibbles

ECONOMY:

The Austrians were right. Again.

Yesterday's phony jobs report claimed unemployment dropped from 9.2 to 9.1 percent and that the economy created over a hundred thousand jobs. Obama considered this good news. The reality?
"According to a Bureau of Labor Statistics breakdown, there were 139,296,000 people working in July, compared to 139,334,000 the month before, or a drop of 38,000."
But government waves its bureaucrat statistic manipulator wand, and presto, jobs are created. Lies.

TAX AND SPEND:

In America's Looming Debt Crisis three and half years ago I wrote,
"This collapse of the dollar is the start of our economic collapse. The collapse of our credit rating would follow, and Moody's recently warned that our AAA credit rating is in jeopardy because of exploding debt. After that, the government will have no options but to drastically cut services and raise taxes, driving the US into depression."
The second step has begun with S&P downgrading the US government credit rating. to AA+. The size and scope of government - the burden of government - has been the biggest problem in America for decades. People are finally waking up to that fact. The sooner we make the cuts, the sooner we take our medicine, the sooner we can rebound stronger than ever. S&P ratings chief says US politics is too unpredictable. What a joke. US politics is easily predictable. S&P is playing the role government assigned it perfectly, posing as an independent voice in the private sector telling the tea party to shut up and get with the program. The ruling class is angling to blame the tea party for the downgrade.

REGULATION:

Claim that the regulations Obama added in July alone cost $9.5 billion.

FEDERAL RESERVE:

Stupid ideas for getting around the debt ceiling that we'll probably hear again.

Bank run in Greece.

EDUCATION:

How government turned young people into sheep.

Swedish government seizes child from parents because they homeschooled him.

HEALTH CARE:

Man calls FDA a rogue agency for denying access to cancer cures and more.
"The FDA is the chief agency in charge of protecting and promoting Americans' health and safety. But in 10 stunning, true stories in his book, "The Politics of Healing," Haley describes how the FDA has suppressed and banned natural health cures – eight of them for cancer. He later wrote about two additional cancer cures that worked, which the FDA also disallowed. The FDA even admitted that one of these treatments, discovered by Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski, was successful with some of the most incurable forms of cancer. I shared this with you in a recent articlethat showed his film, but stories like this are far too common, and you can't help but wonder how many people have died while the FDA denied them cancer treatments that work.
Haley brazenly calls the FDA a rogue, out of control agency that has lied in Congressional testimonies, deliberately falsified data, and destroyed evidence to prohibit cures like Burzynki's from coming to market. The FDA's loyalties are to the drug industry, not to individuals, Haley says."
Just like every other government bureaucracy.

GLOBAL WARMING AND ENERGY:

Gore reduced to cussing in speeches. He's on the verge of becoming irrelevant.

POLICE STATE:

Five police officers convicted for murdering and wounding people then covering it up in the wake of Katrina. That's what they call protect and serve.
"U.S. Attorney Jim Letten echoed that, saying the verdicts send a message that "public officials, and especially law enforcement officers, that they will be held accountable and that any abuse of power will have serious consequences.""
They try like one out of ten thousand criminal cops and act like they're really keeping them in line.

Problems with proposed Caylee's laws being driven by public frenzy.

We've heard stories about how effective and unobtrusive Israel's behavioral profiling is at identifying terrorists before they get on planes. This sounds very different. And you can bet TSA won't stop the radiation and gropes.

WAR:

The Taliban shoots down a NATO helicopter and kills 31 US troops including over 20 members of SEAL team 6. I find it hard to believe that's a coincidence. They almost certainly had inside information to target that helicopter. How much you want to bet the ISI was involved? If so, that will really increase tensions with Pakistan.

Alleged witness to the bin Laden assassination tells a very different story.

FOREIGN POLICY:

So the civil war in Somalia seems to be heating up. The media continues to build the case for US intervention.

POLITICS:

Rick Perry is the Bilderberg choice.

When progressives talk about fairness, they mean making everybody equally poor but themselves and their cronies.

It's nice to see somebody in the mainstream pointing out that Obama is pushing the Cloward-Piven strategy to collapse the US economy under the burden of government, and doing so very successfully with the help of his Republican partners who just handed him a $2.4 trillion birthday present.
"As a default date nears and the President threatens seniors that there's a chance they may not receive their Social Security checks, it has been revealed that the federal government disperses a stunning 80 million checks a month, which means that about a third of the US adult population could be receiving some sort of entitlement."
That's what the two parties, working together, have done to us.
"Could it be that Barack Obama is purposely pressuring the system in a premeditated effort to foster a major crisis?   One that would demand extraordinary measures to control by a President who could then mete out basic sustenance to Americans who would agree to anything to regain some sense of normalcy.  And in the process successfully usher in the "socially just" system Barack Obama has dreamed of all his life."
Welcome to the party. Three years late is better than never.

Rick Perry's college transcript looks pretty bad. Try finding out about Barack Obama's transcript.

MEDIA:

The spotlight is off Murdoch now that at least one reporter from another paper has been accused of hacking too.

George Will does his duty and carries on the big Republican lie:
"During various liberal ascendancies, the federal spider has woven a web of dependencies."
Hey Will, you ever heard of Medicare Part D? Schip? No Child Left Behind? Welfare to churches? George W. Bush?

MISC:

In today's episode of when will people realize that anything with a computer that communicates to another computer can be hacked and controlled like insulin pumps and pace-makers.
