War

ISIS kills and captures Yazidis.
"MORE Than 300 Yazidi men were killed and 1,000 women and children were taken hostage after Islamist militants stormed their village in north-western Iraq, Kurdish officials have said. "
So much for Obama's humanitarian mission.

Phony claims of genocide are an often-used excuse for war.

Iraqi PM Maliki resigns, so the US succeeds with its goal of regime change.

Pat Buchanan calls for a Congressional vote before starting another war in Iraq, but it's too late. The new war is already on.

Supposedly mainstream Syrian rebels losing ground to both Syrian military and ISIS.
"The developments, some of the most strategically important in Syria’s three-year war, come as the American military for the first time strikes ISIS fighters in Iraq. The United States says it aims to prevent massacres of Iraqi civilians, but apparently has no plans to strike the group in Syria, where it incubated into perhaps the world’s most dangerous Islamist extremist group."
Incubated makes it sound like the US played no role.
