Police State

DOJ official claims DOJ cannot crack the iPhone. I'm skeptical. The DOJ might prefer people use the iPhone because they've cracked it, and they're afraid because android is overtaking the iPhone. Or maybe Apple payed the DOJ to help market the iPhone.

DHS to purchase another 750 rounds of ammo.
"Fears that federal authorities are preparing for mass civil unrest have increased after it was revealed that the Department of Homeland Security is planning to buy a further 750 million rounds of ammo in addition to the 450 million rounds of hollow point bullets already purchased earlier this year."
That means they can shoot every American four times. Our government is preparing to defend itself against the people because the people in power know they are collapsing our economy, and that will create massive civil unrest. They're doing it on purpose and preparing for the consequences. Our government is evil, not stupid.

I like the idea of an app for reporting crime to the police, but because this is developed by government for government, it's going to be a disaster. I like this quote.
"Adams said the app is not meant to be a replacement for 911, but rather an outlet for the “many people who are afraid or intimidated,” by police, Adams said."
What a load of crap. You know this app identifies whoever uses it, including their location. It probably does a public records search and builds a file on the user automatically. It probably dumps all the information in the phone to the police, and if it doesn't now, it will. I'm sure at some point in the future I'll have a follow-up about how police are abusing this app. This is a way for police to get more information from users, not less. This would be a great idea if we had non-coercive security services, but we don't.

The DOJ has been holding over 60 people who were found not guilty by an appeals court. The DOJ had ordered them to remain locked up anyway. This shows the innate lawlessness of the state. USA Today claims credit for exposing this abomination and pressuring DOJ to free them, but I bet this is just the tip of the iceberg of innocent people being imprisoned in the US.

In a horrific follow-up to my last story about ubiquitous sexual assaults and perversion by government agents, we find out that the bigwigs at DHS and the Pentagon aren't just watching regular porn on their taxpayer-funded computers. They're watching child porn. And they get away with it. Does this make you feel safer? We have the government we deserve because we have the government we empower.
