Free kibbles

FREEDOM OF SPEECH:

Brit arrested for criticizing Olympic athlete on Twitter.

SOCIALISM:

While Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker is hailed as a union fighter, he refuses to commit to making Wisconsin a right-to-work state. Whenever a Republican does something good, you can be sure he did it out of self-interest, like everybody else, not out of principle.

TAX AND SPEND:

Jeb Bush loves taxes as much as his father and brother.

HEALTH CARE:

Monsanto always wins because it's a powerful lobbyist.

GLOBAL WARMING AND ENERGY:

Half of India without power as its power grid collapses. Sounds the US after every heavy wind.

Congratulations to Anthony Watt for his study showing that out-of-spec weather stations account for pretty much half of the reported warming of the last few decades.

WAR:

Syrian rebels use IEDs.

POLITICS:

I get half a dozen urgent emails every day telling me to contact my congressman or senators to stop some onerous piece of legislation. And they're not lying. They're not exaggerating. Congress is waging a constant, war against us. It's absolutely nuts.
