Free kibbles

ECONOMY:

Mises scholar movie on the great recession.

TAX AND SPEND:

When Republicans caved to Democrats and made the Bush tax cuts temporary, it became inevitable that those tax would expire. Why is anybody surprised this is the Democrat plan? They should have never caved on making them temporary.

The socialist president of France promises to raise taxes, to rich people are leaving France. As if Britain is any better.

HEALTH CARE:

Thirty genetically modified babies have been born as human experiments for the US government's medical establishment. Government-manufactured super-soldiers will be next.

GLOBAL WARMING AND ENERGY:

Another paper refutes Mann's hockey stick by showing the Medieval Warm Period was approximately 1 C hotter than today.

New study finds that nearly have of the recorded warming of the last century is due to data collection errors at weather stations.

POLICE STATE:

Police will be able to detect everything about you with new laser scanner.
"Within the next year or two, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security will instantly know everything about your body, clothes, and luggage with a new laser-based molecular scanner fired from 164 feet (50 meters) away. From traces of drugs or gun powder on your clothes to what you had for breakfast to the adrenaline level in your body—agents will be able to get any information they want without even touching you. And without you knowing it."
That's terrifying. They'll put these on every street corner.

WAR:

As I expected, the latest claim of a massacre by Syrian government forces is falling apart under scrutiny.

POLITICS:

One hundred ways Obama is like Bush and One hundred ways Romney is like Obama.

Obama is right that as more and more people flee the leftist destruction of California for prosperous Texas, Texas is becoming more liberal. Stupid people destroy their own state then move to a fiscally responsible state and vote for the same policies that destroyed the state they fled.

Corruption at the Treasury Department. What a shocker.

MEDIA:

Wall Street Journal calls Washington's ramp up attack forces and aggressive policies directed at Iran as "defense". Orwell would be proud.

Obama's communist mentor Frank Marshall Davis.

Thomas Sowell wonders why the media refuses to cover the many black flash mob race riots in recent years. I don't know that these things are being ignored because of race. I think it's more likely they're being ignored because of government failure. The government has no way to stop them other than racially profiling or infiltrating black gangs, and those actions politically incorrect and difficult, respectively.

MISC:

Libertarianism is not social darwinism.
"The free market is not, as the social Darwinists imagine, a struggle between rich and poor, strong and weak. It is the principal means by which human beings cooperate in order to live. If each of us had to produce all his food and shelter by himself, almost no one could survive. The existence of large-scale society depends absolutely on social cooperation through the division of labor."
In a system of voluntary exchange.

In the midst of far and away the least active solar cycle in centuries, the government is trying to scare us about solar activity. The one thing I would say about this is the government has made our electric grid incredibly fragile and vulnerable to solar activity, so in a way this could be another false flag: blaming the sun for the damage done by our government.
