Free kibbles

TAX AND SPEND:

The deficit is $93 billion larger than government projected. Imagine that.

This guy almost gets it right. I highlighted his one error.
"The dark, dirty secret is that whoever wins the election this November is going to be at the controls, but unable to stop the collapse. The elections are meaningless unless the debt is brought under control immediately. Not next month, next year, or gradually. The can has been kicked to the end of the road. Unless the cuts are massive and immediate, the end is near. Everyone knows that is not going to happen. Democrats won't even propose a budget or even talk about balancing one. Republicans are too obtuse to understand the ramifications of not stopping the unconstitutional, non-enumerated profligate programs that are doing the destruction. Soon we will be forced into austerity whether we like it or not, and it will not come without extensive pain. There will be conflicts, and there will be deaths that follow. There will be lawlessness, and there will be great strife. The über-rich will survive, but the middle class will be disintegrated. The inevitable all happened while we were being lied to by the left. They didn't want prosperity for all; they wanted power for themselves."
If by the left, he means the progressives that have controlled both parties for a century, then I agree with him. If he means Democrats or liberals, then he's wrong. Republicans have always grown government just like Democrats. They are the Democrats' partners in crime, both working to divide, conquer and loot the people together. Ron Paul is the only candidate who understands this and will make the necessary cuts, and that's why a vote for anybody other than Ron Paul is a vote for disaster. It's nice to see a conservative and a strongly conservative publication realize and advocate that libertarianism is the only hope for our country.

FEDERAL RESERVE:

Disgruntled former employee rips Goldman-Sachs in op-ed.

HEALTH CARE:

Yet another study claiming red meat is bad for you turns out to be bogus because they didn't control for other variables.

Obama plans to try and influence the Supreme Court decision on Obamacare by scheduling a PR campaign during the arguments.

Man is arrested and has bail set at $1 million for selling raw milk. Compare that to the bail for accused Penn State child molester at $100,000.

GLOBAL WARMING AND ENERGY:

While the sun recently had a super-sunspot cluster than sent several CMEs our way, the more important news is that the sunspot count has dropped for the third month in a row.

POLICE STATE:

The police state in New York.

WAR:

We can add a bunch more countries to the list of countries the US is currently waging war in without a declaration of war from Congress.
"“We have currently special forces assist teams — Pacific assist teams is the term — laid down in Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Maldives, as well as India,” Admiral Willard told the House committee."
This is nuts. Everybody in the world is going to want to kill Americans. The Indian government denies US special forces are in the country.

US commanders order marines to disarm before meeting with Defense Secretary Panetta.

Exposing propaganda pushing the US toward war with Iran.

POLITICS:

Romney wins Hawaii.

The establishment is on to Ron Paul's delegate strategy, calling him devious and dangerous. This is what I was afraid of. The establishment is going to demonize him for playing by their rules and succeeding. Only the establishment is supposed to be able to do that.

Study shows liberals are less tolerant that conservatives. Just like they give less to charity. Once again science proves something that is obvious to impartial observers.

MEDIA:

Media bias is not always overt. I think, as in this case, it's typically subtle. I think most media bias comes from what isn't reported, not what is.

MISC:

Of course government produces the buggiest software.
"Humans aren't very good at writing secure code. But they're worst at it when they're paid to do it for the U.S. government, according to a study that will be presented at the Black Hat Europe security conference in Amsterdam later this week. Chris Wysopal, chief technology officer of bug-hunting firm Veracode plans to give a talk breaking down a vulnerability analysis of 9,910 software applications over the second half of 2010 and 2011. Government-built applications came out far worse than those created by the commercial software industry or the finance industry."
This is the same government which claims it wants to secure the internet.

Fifty-one percent of internet traffic is non-human.
