Free kibbles

SOCIALISM:

GM agreed to big pay raises for the UAW because the government sat on both sides of the table. Taxpayers will have to pay.

ECONOMY:

According to this article:
"Why Are Obama & Union Bosses Working to Destroy Companies & Jobs? The question needs to be asked: Is it ignorance or malice?"
I've answered that question many times.

TAX AND SPEND:

Obama declares his proposed taxes on the rich are not class warfare, they're math. No they're not. You could steal all the money from the rich in the US, and you still couldn't fund the government. The Republicans are right on this. It's class warfare. If you tax the rich, they'll take their money and play elsewhere.

Rick Perry supported TARP, but now he's lies says he didn't.

Here's a good reminder that government creates poverty.
"When Obama unveiled his first stimulus, he promised it would lift 2 million people out of poverty. Instead, the Census Bureau announced this week that 2.6 million more people fell below the poverty line last year, pushing the number of poor people to the highest level in a half-century."
The more money government steals out of the private sector and squanders in the political economy, the poorer we get and the more people get trapped in poverty. According to the government, the number of people in poverty in America has increased three years in a row.

US taxpayers bailing out Europe.

According to the Labor Department, last year there were only 1.75 full time workers for each person receiving Social Security. Yikes.

REGULATION:

Everything government does is about buying votes, so I'm not the least bit surprised that Obama would manipulate regulations to win him favor in swing states. Anybody who is surprised by this doesn't understand the nature of government.

Regulations are designed to protect big corporations, i.e. big donors, from competition so I'm not surprised that regulations cost small businesses 36 percent more per employee than big businesses. That's why they exist.

HEALTH CARE:

Remember when Rick Perry stated Merck only gave him $5,000? Like most good lies, that's partly true, but not complete.
"Perry, who is seeking the Republican presidential nomination, received at least $23,500 in campaign contributions from drug-maker Merck & Co., including $5,000 in 2006, the year before he ordered girls throughout the state to take a new Merck vaccine. The drug-maker also has donated about $500,000 to the Republican Governors Association, a group which Perry headed twice and has been among his most generous campaign donors."
Another layer of the onion is pealed back.

GLOBAL WARMING AND ENERGY:

Another big Obama fundraiser turned bureaucrat linked to Solyndra.
"Steve Spinner, who helped monitor the Energy Department’s issuance of $25 billion in government-backed loans to renewable energy projects, was one of Obama’s top fundraisers in 2008 and is raising money for the president’s 2012 re-election campaign.Spinner did not have any role in the selection of applicants for the loan program and, in fact, was recused from the decision to grant a $535 million loan guarantee to Solyndra Inc. because his wife’s law firm represented the company, administration officials said Friday."
Like his connection to the company through his wife didn't matter. Solyndra CEO reports that Obama was personally instrumental in securing the $500+ million loan. This is the inevitable result of central planning. Two other green energy companies which received Obama stimulus have gone bankrupt. Obama wants to repeat these disasters 15 more times before the stimulus money runs out.

POLICE STATE:

TSA pleased with its new policy that makes travelers wait for four hours.

Lawyer defending himself is forced to wear an ankle bracelet so marshals can shock him if he approaches the bench or jury.

IP:

Samsung plans to block the sale of iPhone 5s in Korea. Hopefully people will tire of this idiocy. Maybe if Samsung is able to block an Apple product, the iZombies will wake up and demand and end to patents.

FOREIGN POLICY:

How would the UN arbitrarily creating a Palestinian state be any different than the UN arbitrarily creating Israel? As if the UN is the boss of the world. In a stark contrast to the way the US is dealing with the Palestinians, UN gives Libyan rebels a seat.
"The vote to so quickly recognize the NTC may prove an interesting obstacle for the United States as it aims to block the Palestinian Liberation Organization’s attempt to secure recognition for Palestine as a member nation, a vote expected next Friday."
This is powerful encouragement for civil wars everywhere.

Paul Wolfowitz explains how our foreign policy incited terrorists.

POLITICS:

Great Ron Paul video.

Lew Rockwell claims that Ron Paul's straw poll victory in California shows that even establishment Republicans are now supporting him.
