Free kibbles

ECONOMY:

Republicans continue to blame Democrats for the recession, but I didn't notice Republicans repealing the CRA when they were in power. And I didn't notice them complaining about Greenspan printing money. This is just another act in the two party charade they use to divide and conquer us. Tom Woods's Meltdown has the best explanation.

TAX AND SPEND:

I'm all for cutting taxes, but not to raise revenue. That last I want is for government to have more money. We should get rid of the estate tax and all taxes because taxation is theft, not to give the government more money to spend from other tax revenues.

The reality behind Obama's latest class warfare attack:
"If It Was Collected Every Year Since John the Baptist, You Wouldn't Cut One of Obama's Deficit's By Half"
But it would inconvenience some rich guy, and that's what really matters. Who cares about all the people it would put out of work.

This isn't what the article says, but Republicans force Obama to get his hands dirty in budget talks. The article pretends Obama made this happen. Wrong. Cantor walking out of Biden's bull**** talks made this happen. Republicans would not allow Obama to stay above the fray.

REGULATION:

Big corporations working with their partners in government to steal more of our money and obtain regulations that favor them and harm the rest of us.

Car makers are working with their partners in the Obama administration to write new regulations for cars that will benefit them and harm the rest of us.

New government regulations are putting small fishermen out of business.
"New rules to sink the traps wear out lines much faster. Rules on where to set traps and how to set them. Rules on lobster sizes. Rules based on studies using government surveys that used totally flawed net techniques. Ignoring reputable studies out of Woods Hole"
Let's do a thought experiment. Who would win without government intervention? Who wins with it? This all about protecting the big money makers from small businesses, and that's what government is all about.

Hooray for the flying car. Booo anybody who holds their breath.

GLOBAL WARMING:

La Nina fades away.

POLICE STATE:

I'm don't share Rockwell's glee that sociopath Casey Anthony will go free. I can't imagine a sane person being gleeful about it. But I'm happy that the jurors rejected the non-case of the prosecutors. Every day we suffer dozens or hundreds of innocents convicted because juries find it easier to rubber stamp the cases of prosecutors instead of making prosecutors prove their cases. The willingness of jurors, oppressed by the government to an ever worse extent, to bow down to prosecutors is the fatal flaw of our justice system. I don't want sociopathic murders to go free. But I understand that prosecutors do far more damage to people than any individual like Casey Anthony can ever compete with, so as much as I wish her confined, I celebrate the government's much more dangerous failure to oppress.

Who wants to hire Casey Anthony to babysit their child? Nobody. I hate to see a sociopath go free, but I hate more to see jurors bow down to prosecutors who have no case. As much as I hate it, this decision is a victory for every American because these prosecutors failed to prove their case beyond a reasonable doubt.

WAR:

So what do you do if you're the US military and you receive about $1 trillion in stolen funds every year? You spend $2.7 billion on a computer that doesn't work, hampers the war efforts in Afghanistan and Iraq, and gets people killed. That's way cooler than using cheaper, proven commercial computers.

Let's imagine you were given the job of finding the most identifiable, wanted person in the world. You would have every government agent in the world on your side. You would have billions of people on your side. You would know this person could only be hidden in a very small region of the world. Further, imagine you were employed by FedEx or UPS. How long do you think you would keep your job if you failed to deliver his location? Six month? Two years?  Not damn long. But if you're an employee of the most corrupt organization in the history of the world, you could get away with failure for ten years or more. Must be nice.

MISC:

Cisco to help China build a city-wide network of 500,000 surveillance cameras. Have I mentioned that corporations are agents of the government?

Blaming Big Corp for the problems in this Country is like blaming the guy who screws your wife. Is it Big Corp. fault our wife (government) is such a whore? Or maybe she is cheating because we aren't paying enough attention to her.
