Free kibbles

ECONOMY:

Government domination of our economy has resulted in the radical shrinking of the middle class. These statistics are horrific.

Jeffrey Tucker contrasts the old statism, when central planners forced electricity and highways on rural lands to pull the backward people out of their agrarian culture into their vision of modernity, with the new statism where central planners try to force us back into a rural, agrarian society.

TAX AND SPEND:

Obama continues to divide his party as Democrats run from his umpteenth stimulus boondoggle plan. I'm telling you, predicting this politics stuff is easy.

Little correlation between stimulus spending and unemployment rates. There is one correlation that's missed here. The more stimulus government spends, the higher the unemployment rate will go because more resources, including labor, will be diverted from wealth-producing activities to the unproductive political economy.

"Which part of this story do you find more shocking: the fact that Capitol Hill employees owed $9.3 million in overdue taxes at the end of last year or the fact that there are 18,000 Capitol Hill employees?"
That's priceless.

FEDERAL RESERVE:

If you ever wondered if Ben Bernanke was an aristocrat, these pictures will tell you.

Prediction of a return to the gold standard.
"If history is any kind of indicator, by 2013 we’ll return to money defined in terms of something real. No currency in history has lasted longer than 42 years after its intrinsic backing has been abandoned, and it was 39 years ago that President Nixon severed the dollar’s link to gold."
Let's hope so. The only problem is, because our government is bigger and more powerful than any in history and our country has more people than any in this position in history and anybody can become an aristocrat and government always attracts the most power-hungry, dishonest, selfish, narcissistic, and conscienceless people in the country, our aristocrats are the worst in history. It'll be harder to overcome them than in any other circumstance in history, and so far the American people have shown neither the will to do it nor the desire to educate themselves on our problems in mass. Fortunately, that last one is changing.

EDUCATION:

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie politely schools another teacher with facts. Apparently teachers aren't big fans of facts.

HEALTH CARE:

Are HIV tests a fraud designed to produce false positives to line the pockets of the drug companies? It's easy to say that a false negative is more dangerous, but I doubt that's any consolation to people erroneously diagnosed with HIV and treated for AIDS.
"This western blot, as you'll learn below, is a spectacularly laughable test that seems to have been designed to make "positive" criteria as loose as possible in order to label perfectly healthy people as having AIDS.
"I don't think the western blot is a useful diagnostic test. I don't think it's worth doing," argues Dr Robin Weiss in the video clip.
Val Turner, an MD from Australia, adds, "It's ludicrous that you can be [HIV] positive in one country and not positive in another.""
"Neville Hodgkinson, the Medical and Science Correspondent for The Sunday Times (London) adds, "Some people argue that we have a confirmatory test in some western countries, and that repeated testing can lead you to a safer diagnosis. But if the very basis of the test is faulty, then nothing works in fact. ...Because of the different criteria that apply in different countries, you can test HIV positive in one country and be given an AIDS diagnosis as a result of that, whereas in another country you won't test HIV positive and you won't be given an AIDS diagnosis.""
"Manufacturers of the HIV test, in other words, differ in how they define a "positive." You might be "HIV positive" on one test, but negative on another. And the decision on which manufacturer's test to use is based on the opinion of the clinic, hospital or doctor ordering the tests."
This is crazy. That's powerful evidence the test is not scientific. This is the result of government domination of AIDS research.
"So why doesn't the industry tighten up its guidelines and require five, six or even all nine bands to show up before diagnosing someone as HIV positive? No one seems to know.
I do, though. Isn't it obvious? The AIDS industry is much like the cancer industry in that it's focused on diagnosing as many patients as possible whether or not they actually have the disease. More patients equals more profits and a bigger "scare story" to feed the media propaganda machines."
"Once a person is diagnosed with AIDS, you see, they become a profit-generating machine for Big Pharma. AIDS pharmaceuticals are extremely expensive, and because they are protected under an FDA-enforced monopoly, they can be sold at practically any asking price.
Even better, once innocent "healthy" people start taking AIDS drugs, they begin to show AIDS symptoms such as compromised immune systems. These side effects are caused by the drugs, of course, not by the disease, but in the minds of doctors and patients, the emergence of these scary symptoms proves that "they really had AIDS."
It's all just loopy, circular logic with a single purpose: To earn more money for Big Pharma at the expense of human suffering."
They get away with this because the government protects them from robust competition.

GLOBAL WARMING AND ENERGY:

Despite being a nice excuse and propaganda claim, climate change is not driving African wars.
"“The primary causes of civil war are political, not environmental,” says Buhaug."
Imagine that.

I think the Chinese government has realized it can use the global warming fraud to advance its interests at the expense of the US and Europe.

WAR:

Obama says that America's enemy is al Qaeda, not Islam. He's got that right.

POLITICS:

I often write about how aristocrats aren't like normal people. They're all power-hungry freaks who should be disqualified from office because of the way they covet wielding power over others. This video illustrates that perfectly. Most aristocrats are more subtle than this guy.

Confession of a bunch of stupid people who now regret voting for Obama. Please never vote again. Since you didn't bother to do the homework before you voted, you're not competent to vote.

Dinesh D'Souza offers a compelling alternative to my Obama wants to be America's Lenin theory: Obama has absorbed his father's hatred of America as a colonial power.
"As [Obama's father] put it, "We need to eliminate power structures that have been built through excessive accumulation so that not only a few individuals shall control a vast magnitude of resources as is the case now." The senior Obama proposed that the state confiscate private land and raise taxes with no upper limit. In fact, he insisted that "theoretically there is nothing that can stop the government from taxing 100% of income so long as the people get benefits from the government commensurate with their income which is taxed."
Remarkably, President Obama, who knows his father's history very well, has never mentioned his father's article. Even more remarkably, there has been virtually no reporting on a document that seems directly relevant to what the junior Obama is doing in the White House.
While the senior Obama called for Africa to free itself from the neocolonial influence of Europe and specifically Britain, he knew when he came to America in 1959 that the global balance of power was shifting. Even then, he recognized what has become a new tenet of anticolonialist ideology: Today's neocolonial leader is not Europe but America. As the late Palestinian scholar Edward Said--who was one of Obama's teachers at Columbia University--wrote in Culture and Imperialism, "The United States has replaced the earlier great empires and is the dominant outside force."
From the anticolonial perspective, American imperialism is on a rampage. For a while, U.S. power was checked by the Soviet Union, but since the end of the Cold War, America has been the sole superpower. Moreover, 9/11 provided the occasion for America to invade and occupy two countries, Iraq and Afghanistan, and also to seek political and economic domination in the same way the French and the British empires once did. So in the anticolonial view, America is now the rogue elephant that subjugates and tramples the people of the world."
The theory definitely works in addition to but doesn't replace Obama pursuit of a Marxist agenda.

How the Republican establishment and neo-cons have co-opted the tea parties even though they have managed to nominate a handful of "exotic candidates".

The ruling class who voted for Obama feel he is a traitor to his class by painting his fellow rulers as villains.
"Too many Americans think of Barack Obama as somehow alien to the established politico-economic order. Many accuse him of all sorts of affiliations and loyalties at odds with the preservation of that order. In my view, however, he is as American as apple pie—as American as Franklin D. Roosevelt. He was not born in a sharecropper’s shack; he did not walk six miles barefooted through the snow, uphill both ways, to attend school; he has always been a successful player in the upper reaches of the participatory fascist system that thickheaded Americans revere as “democracy in action” in the “land of the free.”"
He's definitely walked among them, but he hates them like he hates all of us.

MEDIA:

Boorts is 100 percent accurate about this: "The kook pastor is playing the media like a badly tuned banjo" I don't care what Trump's motives are. He's doing the right thing by making an offer on the property.
