We know the private sector is sitting on $1.8 trillion of wealth because of uncertainty in the marketplace created by Democrats. If Republicans take the House and/or Senate in November, I think everybody expects gridlock. The myth of gridlock is overblown, Republicans always compromise with Democrats to continue looting the people, but it is the best situation for business Americans ever see. So if Republicans win at least one chamber, expect businesses to start growing. When that happens, inflation will hit, interest rates will go up and the treasury bubble will pop. That's when the Fed will have to either allow inflation or bring the economy back into recession. I think that's when the inflation, or hyper-inflation, will hit.
People improve their lives through cooperation with other people. Government is the biggest enemy of cooperation ever created. Every dollar government steals from us at the point of a gun is a dollar that we can't can't use to cooperate in product activities. Every regulation government forces on us at the point of a gun restricts our options to cooperate and improve our lives.
In praise of chickens and goats to get families through the coming rough times. I hope it doesn't get that bad, but I understand being prepared.

The state sheriff's association pushed the idea Tuesday, saying the move would help them make drug arrests and curb a growing problem of prescription drug abuse. But patient advocates say opening up people's medicine cabinets to law enforcement would deal a devastating blow to privacy rights.
Allowing sheriffs' offices and other law enforcement officials to use the state's computerized list would vastly widen the circle of people with access to information on prescriptions written for millions of people. An analysis of homeland security computers, the same organization that wants to take over security of the entire internet, turned up 1,085 instances of vulnerabilities from 202 high risk security holes. What do they care? It's not like anybody will lose their job. It's not like they're going to lose profits. In fact, they'll probably get budget increases and promotions in order to fix the problems.
