Don't compromise on health care oppression. Republicans have been the recent happy beneficiaries of Democrats' failure to compromise on Obamacare. Because Democrats rejected compromise, Republicans appeared to reject oppression on principle - dramatically differentiating themselves from Democrats.
If Republicans compromise, they'll remind every American they're no better than Democrats. They'll hand Obama the bipartisan victory he's coveted. They'll surrender all the gains they've made in the last year, and they can kiss retaking the House in 2010 goodbye. Don't play political power games with our lives. Reject health care oppression in all its forms.
