Free kibbles

Embedded at the top of this long speech by Peter Schiff about the financial meltdown is an excellent video of Schiff's appearance on the Daily Show.

Now evidence comes out that Bush was Mirandizing terrorists in Afghanistan too. Just goes to show that Obama is Bush's ideological big brother. I swear Bill Clinton looks better and better every day.

Democrats have dropped the limitation on their executive pay limitation from just TARP recipients and are pushing to limit executive pay for all publicly traded companies. That didn't take long. Did I die and wake up in Venezuela? Business groups want Obama to put limits on union leadership compensation as well. That'll be the day. The WSJ predicts this is the start of new wage and price controls when inflation hits, since they've worked so well in the past. Obama knows what the result of wage and price controls will be. He's intentionally harming our country.
"The bankers were doing, in short, what Alan Greenspan and Barney Frank subsidized them to do. Blaming the bankers for making bigger money in the bargain is a political diversion."
Absolutely.

Obama is winning, at least at the moment. People are taking government jobs instead of wealth creating jobs and making us all poorer.

The IRS wants to tax private use of work cell phones. Our government is insane with greed for our money, and it's destroying our country.

Democrats plan to cave to Obama and bring Guantanamo detainees to US for trial. I hope this blows up in the faces spectacularly.

House minority whip Eric Cantor compares Obama's micromanaging of the auto industry to Putin in Russia. That sounds pretty accurate.

Victor Davis Hansen challenges Obama's claim to be a student of history. If Obama is a student of history, his score is a zero. Obama has a couple things in common with Bill Clinton - charm and the ability to lie more easily and effectively than tell the truth. I keep catching Obama saying, "I'm not going to lie to you" or "honestly" at times. That tells us he's lying to us all the other times.

For example, Obama claims to have found a way to save hundreds of billions in our budget. What he really means is he's going to raise taxes on the rich by getting rid of some deductions. Raising taxes is the opposite of saving on the budget.

The French Supreme Court declares that access to the internet is a basic human right. Good thing that could never happen here.

Australia copies our onerous global warming legislation plan, but adds the provision that police will become carbon cops. Breathing too hard? That's a fine. Obama is jealous he didn't think of that first.

Panicked Democrats try to fudge health care costs.

Proving that political freedom in Iran is pretty much on a par with political freedom in the US, the Mullah's favorite - incumbent Ahmadinejad - claims victory despite vote counts that show him to be a big loser. The US and Iran have little in common, but the political process in both is very similar. In Iran, the Mullahs choose the almost identical candidates. In the US, the two parties chose the almost identical candidates. In both countries, the people are fooled into thinking they have political freedom.
