Second Letter to Mike Turner

Apparently, despite being thumped in 2 straight elections, Republicans haven't gotten the memo that they need to change direction. I don't support John Boehner for any Republican leadership position, especially minority leader. Boehner was part of the leadership that led Republicans to 2 terrible defeats and surrendered the country to the first Marxist president in history. If you re-elect Boehner, Republicans will suffer another dramatic defeat in 2010.

This isn't rocket science. What you are doing, your big-government Republicanism, is getting you creamed in elections. Re-electing the same leader means sticking with the same general principles that have resulted in your defeat in 2 straight elections.

Voters unequivocally repudiated Bushism and big-government Republicans like Boehner twice in a row. If you re-elect him, voters will repudiate you again in 2010, and America will suffer even more.

Are Republicans really this dumb that they're going to "stay the course" into oblivion for themselves and the country?
