Free kibbles

Eliot Spitzer gets off without federal charges. Too bad.

Jacksonville school board votes to retain the name of a high school named after a Confederate General and early KKK member. All the white people on the board voted to keep it. Why?

If this teacher really wore a bikini all the time on her second job, she has a case, but if she went topless on that job, she doesn't.

Ahmadinejad and Chavez have congratulated Obama on his victory. I'm sure Hamas has well. Probably Fidel Castro too. It's kind of funny how American communists think Obama is an extreme leftist, blacks think he's a black liberation candidate, regular liberals think he's a regular liberal, and moderates think he's a centrist. The first 2 groups are right, and the other 2 groups are going to be surprised by their own failure to discover who it was they voted for.

MSNBC announces its intention to act as Obama's propaganda organ by changing it's slogan to "Watch MSNBC and experience the power of change." They're coming right out and telling us they intend to work on behalf of Obama.

Obama names Rahm Emmanuel, one of the most aggressive partisans in the House, as his chief of staff. So much for working with Republicans and being post-partisan.

I find the accusation by McCain aides that Palin didn't know Africa was a continent unbelievable. Granted, government schools today are terrible, but government hadn't so thoroughly destroyed them as of 25 years ago. This sounds like a smear brought on by personal animosity, and I expect we'll hear the other side of this soon. As poorly as the McCain campaign was run, I don't blame Palin for being frustrated. I was frustrated with his campaign. What's really bizarre though, is it's more understandable that an American would think Africa is a country than to think we have 58 states in America, as Obama claimed. But of course, Obama got a pass.

Boortz has some intemperate thoughts about the election including wondering how many people voted away their jobs and how the press would have reacted to a couple skin-heads "protecting" a majority white polling place.

According to this Virgina Congressman, Republicans have a simplist notion that people who have wealth are entitle to keep it, and that doesn't work in the long run. I wish Bush and Republicans had actually governed the way this guy pretends they did. Shame on you for thinking that your stuff is your stuff.

The Federal Reserve hired a top executive from Bear Stearns. You've got to be kidding me.

Ann Coulter has a great column explaining how McCain's liberalism prevented Republicans from attacking Obama for his liberalism.
