Free kibbles

Iran claims to have obtained confessions from all 15 British hostages. Can the UK be any weaker? Have they got on their knees and begged for forgiveness from the almighty Iranians yet? Claims that Iranian actions were in retaliation for US capture of Iranians in Iraq. We already knew that, but we didn't know the actual targets.

Russian news is reporting that the US will attack Iran this month, maybe this week.

Monty Python's Terry Jones exhibits the cultural self-loathing that makes us easy targets for Iran and Muslim extremists.

FairTax rally in Atlanta tomorrow. Go if you can.

Democrats finally show some guts - If Bush vetoes the current retreat and defeat bill, Harry Reid will introduce a bill to totally defund the Iraq war. That bill will never pass, and Democrats are going to take a beating.

Bush has threatened to veto 16 bills after vetoing only 1 in 6 years.

Boortz explains how Democrats are shifting taxes from the poor to buy more votes. The wealth envy this exploits is why we can't get the FairTax passed. This is what we get for Republicans' failures when in power. They didn't pass the FairTax. They couldn't even pass permanent tax cuts when they controlled both houses and the Presidency. How incompetent is that?

Supreme Court refuses to hear Guantanamo case, allowing tribunals with no civil court appeal.

EU tries to force absurd global warming hysteria on the US and Australia. It's the sun.

Supreme Court rules EPA must consider CO2 emissions and global warming.

How government destroys people.

Hillary, thanks to Bill, leads candidates in fund raising.

Gingrich comes out in favor of English only government documents.

Fred Thompson appears to be for real.

Russia to censor political websites.

Bombers are much cheaper and just as effective at ground assault as fighters, but the Pentagon loves the sexy fighters.

Being polite is one thing, but self-censorship totally alien to me. Why does Target choose to accommodate individuals who won't ring up pork? If they refuse to ring up pork, they can't be cashiers. End of story. This has nothing to do with religion - it's about individual decisions and the requirements of businesses.

More evidence we're reliving the 70s. George Will says we're seeing the repeat of the equal rights amendment. We're also seeing nasty partisanship the likes of which we haven't seen since Nixon. We're in an unpopular war we can win, but anti-war activists and the Democrats they own want us to lose. We're seeing similar cultural self-loathing and defeatism. Very similar.
