Local

The DDN finally publishes what the cops have been covering up about the shooting of the Walmart customer in Beavercreek.
"According to the attorney general's office, John Crawford III was carrying an MK-177 (.177 caliber) BB/Pellet Rifle when he was shot. Manufactured by Crosman, it is known as a “variable pump air rifle.” Online ads show a retail price of about $100."
Cops killed him for that, and a second woman apparently died from fright because of it.
"Jill Del Greco, spokeswoman for Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine, said the Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Investigation has received in-store video footage from around the immediate area of the shooting, but the agency has asked  Walmart to provide footage from all of its roughly 120 store cameras."
That's to prolong the investigation to better protect the killer. If he had been shot by a serf instead of a ruler, the investigation would be over. The serf would be prosecuted for murder of the man an involuntary manslaughter of the woman.
"A coroner’s office spokeswoman said Crawford’s full autopsy will take several weeks to complete."
I guess the gunshot wound that killed him is hard to find. This is also a search for anything they can use to protect the killer.
"The state investigation into the shooting death of a 22-year-old man killed by police at a Beavercreek Walmart could take months to complete and will include a review of eyewitness accounts, video and audio recordings and toxicology results."
That delay is institutional, legalized corruption.
"“It’s not unusual for us to be asked by the police department or the sheriff involved to come in and do an independent investigation,” DeWine said. “They don’t feel they should be investigating themselves and want an impartial investigation.”"
The state government is hardly impartial. While it is less bad than the normal process of police departments investigating themselves,  local police departments are junior partners of the state's forces. More. At least a few people are protesting.

Twp. financial records are so bad, they can't be audited.

How is the war on drugs and the war in Afghanistan working out for locals? Eighteen people in Montgomery County died from heroin overdoses last week. The war in Afghanistan should be called the war to produce more heroin.

Ohio has made unprecedented changes to socialist schools, and they will have very little impact.

The state is delaying release of school report cards, either because the reports are bad or they haven't finished corrupting them yet.
