Foreign Policy

The world can't easily reject the dollar as the world's reserve currency, but it doesn't have to. As is slowly uses more currencies for trade, dollars will come back to America and produce inflation.
"History repeats because the passions driving mankind never change."
Profound.
"True, dollars were being  shipped  out  of  the  United States in record  amounts, not  only  through  transactions in  the drug trade and illegal economy, but also through  the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, in collaboration with Citibank and  Republic National Bank of New York of Edmond Safra."
So the drug trade is a powerful support for the dollar like oil. The war in Afghanistan makes much more sense now.
"The dollar is by no means going to fade away. China will not replace the dollar as a reserve currency until debt is no longer used as reserves by nations. There is a separate and distinct difference between the currency being used in trade and the currency being used to store wealth. They do not have to be the same thing and are entirely two different animals."
This is why the US wants Americans to buy drugs in dollars.
