Here's an email I just sent to PTI which I expect to be ignored:

The NCAA has no reason to exist other than to steal money that should be paid to players. Let's organize a protest.

We should invite every football and basketball athlete at every major college to come to the center of campus to receive a check from boosters. The NCAA couldn't ban all those students and schools without cutting off its own head, so it would be forced to retreat, and hopefully it would be dissolved. The idea that some superfluous government-like organization needs to enforce rules that five-year-olds can agree to on playgrounds all around the country is absurd. The only rule the NCAA needs to enforce are rules about stealing money from players.

I'm posting this on my blog. You guys have the national platform. Pick up the ball and run with it. The NCAA has stolen from young athletes forever, and if you fight for right, we may finally have the momentum to stop it forever.
