Police State

Cop shoots unarmed accident victim ten times, killing him. In a rare occurrence, the cop was charged.

More on the NSA director's Star Trek like information dominance center.

The American justice system does not serve justice.

Many, including the head of the police union, claim Houston police beat an unarmed person nearly every night.
"An eight-monthTexas Observer investigation found that during the past six years, Houston civilians reported officers for “use of force”—the department’s term for police brutality—588 times. The Internal Affairs division investigated each complaint and dismissed all but four."
"In the same period, Houston cops reported other officers for excessive force 118 times. Internal Affairs dismissed all but 11."
That's impunity.
"Out of 706 complaints about excessive force, HPD disciplined only 15 officers. For 550 shootings, HPD disciplined none. The message is clear: Either Houston police almost never abuse their power, or they abuse it with impunity."
With impunity. And the same is true for all police departments.

Judge reissues order for bulk collection of phone records because no telecom company contests. That's because the companies are agents of the government, either being intimidated or paid to comply. This system is rigged.

New trial for cops convicted for Katrina actions. Katrina hit in 2005.
"A federal judge on Tuesday ordered a new trial for five former New Orleans police officers convicted of civil rights violations stemming from deadly shootings on a bridge after Hurricane Katrina, concluding the case had been tainted by "grotesque prosecutorial misconduct.""
Grotesque prosecutorial misconduct against regular people doesn't matter. It only matters when government agents are convicted.
