Police State

The US uses border security checks to read and copy electronic data without a warrant.

Given the latest revelations about NSA lawlessness, here's some updated recommendations about preserving your privacy and security on the internet. I'm surprised it doesn't mention PGP or GPG by name, but I guess the author didn't get a paycheck for doing that.

This supposed plan by Google to encrypt data to defeat NSA is absurd.  Google is NSA's biggest partner. They don't want to help people protect themselves from NSA. They want to fool more people into using their services so they can make more money and make it easier for NSA to spy on them.

NSA's collection of phone records was illegal for years, but that didn't stop them. It's probably legal now. I guarantee you they didn't stop.

In a very typical, predatory action, George Zimmerman's wife lies about him, bringing cops to assault him. What's different here is the cops are skeptical. Usually the state unquestioningly embraces the claims of women whether they are lying, which they do as often as not, or not. Lie detectors should be SOP for police and prosecutors.

Two Ohio guards are placed on paid vacation because they were on duty while infamous kidnapper Castro supposedly hung himself. I guarantee an investigation will conclude they had nothing to do with his death.

I'm skeptical of this claim that Asian men routinely rape women. I bet this poll was grossly biased to produce this result.
