Global Warming and Energy

There are more trees in the US today than there were 100 years ago.

If wave energy is so efficient, why does the government need to invest in it? Companies can pay for their own research.

The press blames budget cuts for wildfire.
"A cluster of controlled fire and tree-thinning projects approved by forestry officials but never funded might have slowed the progress of the massive Rim Fire in California, a wide range of critics said this weekend."
Budget cuts are the problem, not government's inability to manage anything because it has no prices to guide it.

Changing the name of forest fires to wildfires might instill more fear, but as this table shows, the fires, devastating as they are every year, aren't getting worse.
