If government officials really cared about gun crime, they would focus their attention on the locations with the most gun crime and find out most gun crimes are committed by gangs. If they really want to end gun crime, they should end the war on drugs.
Ending the war on drugs turns out to be the first of five excellent recommendations in this post. This would make a great speech. The NRA should try it.
