This video from Cato explains that by limiting the growth of government to two percent per year or less, government could balance the budget quickly. This argument is made to counter the argument that we must raise taxes to balance the budget, but Cato makes it clear, they're not advocating slower growth. They advocate reducing the size and scope of government.

HEALTH CARE:

The law suit against Obamacare survived dismissal, and both sides have filed detailed briefs for summary judgment. It's doubtful that government will declare something it did unconstitutional, but it's possible.

GLOBAL WARMING AND ENERGY:

Remember how the global warming frauds point to areas of the world that are becoming dry as more people use more water and tell us that's a sign of global warming? Now a new study claims it discovered an alarming new trend: too much fresh water flowing into the oceans and that is a sign of global warming. Yep, life on earth is being threatened by too much fresh water. Be very afraid, not of climate, but of the frauds.

Lead fraud Michael Mann makes Orwell proud by claiming a prosecutor investigating his abuse of tax dollars is an abuse of power, as if those tax dollars were his, not the taxpayers'.

POLICE STATE:

NYPD officer callously delays woman trying to take her daughter, suffering a serious asthma attack, to the hospital. By the time the mother escaped the cop and reached the hospital, her daughter had died.

POLITICS:

Gallop polls show huge advantage for Republicans right now. That's interesting because it seems to me that they lost momentum after releasing their pledge to America. It took the focus off of Democrats and put in on Republican hypocrisy.

Gloria Allred, an aptly named leftist, uses Meg Whitman's housekeeper as a political tool against her because Whitman didn't know she was an illegal alien. Here's video of Greta van Susteren smacking down Gloria Allred over this. Nice job, Greta.

It's nice to see somebody in the mainstream media taking on the government for vague, self-serving terror warnings. Unfortunately Anne Applebaum fails to mention another possibility: the Obama administration is manipulating terrorist threats to help Democrats in the election.
