War

20 year old military weather satellite suddenly explodes in space. It sounds like either it was attacked or caught by a cosmic lightning bolt.
Pentagon fears defense cuts in Britain may hinder warmongering ally.

After having accounts banned, ISIS threatens to kill Twitter founder.

US doesn't provide air support for Iraqi offensive against ISIS, claiming the Iraqis didn't ask for it. The US also claims ignorance of the status of the battle as if it has no surveillance planes or satellites in the region.  That last lie suggests the rest is a lie too. Iran is supporting the attack, not the US.

4,134 killed in Iraq in February.

Jihadi John was probably able to travel to Syria with help from UK spies. That was pure speculation. Here's some evidence.
"MI5 repeatedly tried to recruit Mohammed Emwazi as an informant and put him on a terror watchlist to stop him leaving Britain but he still managed to flee the country for Syria, it was claimed today. "
"MI5 knew ‘everything about me; where I lived, what I did, and the people I hanged around with’ and claimed the organization attempted to ‘turn’ him to work for them."
He says MI5 controlled his life.

This guy gets it wrong.
"If it wasn’t “the desperation and disorder of the powerless” that made Emwazi a monster, what was it?"
It was the powerlessness of a guy whose life was being controlled by MI5. This is what the police state does to people.

US to send six National Guard companies to Ukraine this week in violation of the ceasefire. This is insanity. Our rulers must be hoping one will get killed.

Wars are less deadly this century than last, but that's no consolation for the dead, wounded and survivors.
