Local

Police shoot man dead in parking lot of Panera Bread on Miller Lane. The police must feel they were justified because they asked for witness statements. Contrast that with the stampede Beavercreek police caused at Walmart to cover up that shooting.
"In the next few minutes, there were comments that said Piqua would respond if the suspect was located, and that the suspect’s cell phone was pinged to the Miller Lane area."
I wonder if they got a warrant for locating the cell phone.

Dayton's stupid street-clearing priorities.

City steals money to give to first-time home buyers.
