Historic snowfall buries Buffalo.
"Forecasters are now predicting the hardest hit areas could see another 20 to 30 inches of snow today, leading to snowfall totals in the 70 to 75 inch range.
“It think it’s going to take many days to dig out the Southtowns,” said Jon Hitchcock, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Buffalo.
Erie County Supervisor Mark Poloncarz announced at an afternoon conference that Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo is dispatched the National Guard to help dig us out.
