Rand Paul launches an old fashioned one-man filibuster of Brennan as CIA chief over concern of drone attacks against Americans on US soil. This should give him a boost in the 2016 Republican primary which at the moment seems to be between Paul and Rubio. Paul seems to be charting his own course. Rubio seems to be following the establishment.

Praise for Paul's filibuster.

"And, the fact that [Paul] stands nearly alone should frighten anyone who is still uninformed enough to think there is a functioning system of checks and balances in Washington. Paul's stand should also serve as a source of everlasting shame to the so-called Progressives who obviously care not one iota for human rights, democracy or decent government at all, as long as one of their own is the current elected dictator."

Sad but true.
