Free kibbles

HEALTH CARE:

I also like how the government propagandists pretend that laws will do what the aristocrats claimed they would do. In this case they pretend a new food law will improve food safety when it will do just the opposite. When has that ever happened? Never that I can remember.

GLOBAL WARMING:

It looks like the MetOffice in Great Britain is coming under ruling-class fire for its failures. I doubt heads will roll though. This is probably just for show.
"Therefore New Scientists optimism is misplaced by the Met Office story alone, because this time politicians have been publically embarrassed by it."
Or maybe not. Apparently this is becoming a real scandal, and in Britain that can mean heads roll.

As predicted, the frauds claim 2010 was the hottest year on record despite two satellite data sets showing otherwise.

POLICE STATE:

Leaker leaks government strategy to prevent leaks. And people think the government is good at security.

FOREIGN POLICY:

It's nice to see an establishment media organ report that China's rise doesn't have to mean war.

MEDIA:

The New York Times blames libertarians for the shooting. Apparently the shooter was tackled and restrained by  civilians even though these people certainly had police escort. Once again, civilians are the first defenders. Police are responders after the fact. Apparently the media is trying to frame the shooter as a right-winger even though his friends label him as a left-winger.

MISC:

Tears are the anti-Viagra chemically.
