Now Obama wants to force people to have an internet ID card. There's never been an act of violence by government Obama didn't embrace.
ECONOMY:
In a good reminder of just how corrupt and self-serving government statistics are, the unemployment rate fell to 9.4 percent. That might sound like good news if you didn't dig any further, but the reason it fell is people gave up looking for work, not because they got jobs. They're still unemployed, but the government doesn't count them because it makes the government look bad.
"Nevertheless, a closer look at data the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) tells that the drop in unemployment had very little to do with newly created jobs. Instead, it was primarily due to 260,000 workers dropping out of the labor force. As a result, the labor force has shrunk by 246,000 from the pre-crisis 2007 level (The U.S. labor force average growth rate is projected to be around 0.8% per year from 2000 to 2050, according to Joel Kotkin.)
Furthermore, not only the number of discouraged workers over job prospects hit a record high (since 1994, the earliest year the data is available) of just over 1.3 million (Fig. 1)--more than the number of jobs added in 2010--but the labor participation rate also hit at a 25-year low of 64.3% ....post-recession! (Fig. 2)."
As bad as the economy is, it's getting worse fast.
EDUCATION:
The difference parenting makes.
HEALTH CARE:
The two parties publicly negotiate how they will share in the looting in any Obamacare changes.
POLICE STATE:
Now TSA is seizing drinks purchased from airport vendors for testing. If this is necessary, why not just test them at the point of sale? The question answers itself.
Establishment magazine slams homeland security, reporting it hasn't made us safer because it exists only to loot us on behalf of the ruling class. This isn't news to libertarians, but for an establishment organ to report this is wonderful. Maybe it will figure out that our entire foreign policy is the same. This article is one of many that all challenge conventional wisdom in some way. That's great.
POLITICS:
Gunman shoots congresswoman and others, kills six including a federal judge and wounds 18. This is terrible, but the more violence government does to the people, the more people will respond in kind. I fear stuff like this is becoming more common as government gets ever more oppressive.
Naturally the propagandists want to blame this shooting on political rhetoric, not the violence that government does to the people.
MISC:
Android, which has long surpassed iPhone in sales, passes iPhone in marketshare.
