Police State

Our rulers are exploiting the Charlie Hebdo massacre to advance the police state.
"“Interior and justice ministers from Europe and the U.S. gathered in Paris on Sunday, calling for increased Internet surveillance and stricter border security to counter attacks like the massacre at the Charlie Hebdo weekly newspaper.”"
Lovely.

Police were designed from the beginning to be a domestic military.

The FBI is horning in on NSA spying.
"Although the government’s warrantless surveillance program is associated with the National Security Agency, the Federal Bureau of Investigation has gradually become a significant player in administering it, a newly declassified report shows."
Infighting will make things better.

Corporations work with government to control us.
"But here’s the catch: the NSA and all other government agencies will also know you better than yourself. As William Binney, one of the highest-level whistleblowers to ever emerge from the NSA said, “The ultimate goal of the NSA is total population control.”"
And they're getting there.

There are many more dangerous professions than police.

New York police like to choke victims despite choking being banned.
"In his first report, Inspector General Philip Eure found that in 10 recent cases involving chokeholds — the same banned maneuver responsible for the July 2014 death of Eric Garner — the cops received little or no discipline from higher-ups.
Eure questioned why, in four of the 10 cases, cops wound up using chokeholds as a "first act" against citizens who'd only confronted them verbally, not physically."
No surprise.
