Police State

The US claims companies must turn over data on demand even if the data is stored outside the US. And they wonder why companies and jobs are fleeing the US.

NSA and its partner GCHQ manipulate online information.
"The secretive British spy agency GCHQ has developed covert tools to seed the internet with false information, including the ability to manipulate the results of online polls, artificially inflate pageview counts on web sites, "amplif[y]" sanctioned messages on YouTube, and censor video content judged to be "extremist.""
I wonder if surveillance for the purpose of evidence is necessary anymore.

A good reminder that police are uniformed tax collectors.
