It's probably true that children today grow up with fear of global warming like my generation grew up with fear of nuclear attack. The difference is the potential for nuclear attack, small as it is, is non-zero because some lunatic could launch a bomb. The potential for catastrophic global warming is zero, for all intents and purposes, is zero.
