The rich and powerful use the state to take more money from the people than poor welfare recipients. Of course. Poor people have no access to the levers of power. The plutocrats also benefit from regulations.
The New Yorker wants us to believe that the man who can assassinate Americans with impunity is powerless. Doesn't your heart break for the pitifully powerless man?
