Free kibbles

STATES RIGHTS:

New Hampshire bill targets TSA agents for groping or leering at nude photos of travelers without probable cause. Why do they need a bill for this? Do molestation laws currently exclude TSA? I still don't understand why some gung-ho prosecutor hasn't gone after TSA agents in order to make a name for him or herself.

REGULATION:

Shipping company doesn't like losing business to other companies, so it asks the Justice Department to investigate them. And it does. Businesses hate competition. I never heard of this company. Maybe its problem is marketing.

The motion picture association names corrupt Chris Dodd as Chairman.
""I am truly excited about representing the interests of one of the most creative and productive industries in America, not only in Washington but around the world,” said Sen. Dodd said in a statement. "The major motion picture studios consistently produce and distribute the most sought after and enjoyable entertainment on earth. Protecting this great American export will be my highest priority.""
Can there be any stronger signal that Hollywood plans to use government's gun as aggressively as possible to protect itself from competition?

FEDERAL RESERVE:

Remember when Ben Bernanke, for years, told us not to worry about a housing bubble? He's at it again.
"Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke told Congress Tuesday that a prolonged rise in oil prices would hurt the U.S. economy. But he said runaway inflation is unlikely. “The most likely outcome is that the recent rise in commodity prices will lead to, at most, a temporary and relatively modest increase in U.S. consumer price inflation,” Bernanke said."
Don't worry about that inflation thing. There's nothing to see here. Move along.
