Scientists surprised to find the spin axis of supposed black holes in quasars aligned with galactic structure.
"The angular distribution of the quasars would require the string to stretch across several billion light-years if they were as far away as the redshift-distance assumption indicates. The paper concludes: “The existence of correlations in quasar axes over such extreme scales would constitute a serious anomaly for the cosmological principle.”"
In reality, quasers are much closer than believed, and the spin axes are aligned with the Birkeland currents that power them.

Researchers create mouse-human hybrids.
"It turns out that a type of cell found in the human central nervous system that had previously been thought little more than a sort of "housekeeper" cell is actually really important for cognitive function. How did we learn this? A team of researchers used them to create mouse-human hybrids."
This shows that researchers are stupid, and people who believe they are on the verge of modeling the brain are full of hubris.
