"The city of Huber Heights plans to present to voters a 0.25 percent, 10-year earned income tax renewal levy in May that is part two of a two-step process to maintain the current level of services, officials said."This doesn't sound right.
"“The main thing is, we have to understand this is not an increase in taxes,” Councilwoman Jan Vargo said. “It’s merely a renewal. There will not be one cent of an increase. If we can get that message across, I’m sure the voters will agree with us.”This sounds even worse.
At the end of 2015, 0.25 percent will fall off the city’s income tax rate, and city officials have said a renewal on the ballot next year is essential. A renewal would be for a 10-year period through 2025."
Lack of government control of Warren County fairgrounds is supposedly a bad thing.
