Developer of subsidized housing wants to build more housing by ballpark.
"“Charlie was the first one in,” Whaley said. “They’ve been successful in that model, so we want to continue that model.”"
Sounds like more subsidies.
"Additional housing options are planned throughout the downtown area, specifically near Fifth Third Field, including the residential component of the $33 million Water Street project. The Water Street project will create 215 rental units in two buildings and is expected to be completed in August 2015"
All this during a housing bubble. This will soon be shown to be malinvestment.
