Politics

There's been a lot of press about a proposal to divide California into six states. Maybe after the next crash, it will happen.
"“It’s important because it will help us create a more responsive, more innovative and more local government, and that ultimately will end up being better for all of Californians,” said Salazar on Monday in a statement."
Then why stop at six? Why not 60? 600? 6,000? Why not abolish California and turn the counties into states? Rulers won't like any of those plans. It's interesting how this plan is designed to prevent any of the six new states from being dominantly Republican. It would consistently produce 9-12 Democrat Senators instead of just two. This is a Democrat's dream. They purposely split Silicon Valley, dominated by leftist San Francisco, from West California, dominated by leftist Los Angeles, to get two more leftist Senators.

I like this definition of social justice.
"I keep what I earn, and you keep what you earn."
And truth about progressives.
"A century after the Progressive movement gained its greatest triumphs — the Federal Reserve System, the federal income tax, and the direct election of U.S. Senators — there is still economic inequality. The spiritual heirs of the Progressive offer a solution: more of the same."
"If you get individual justice, there will be greater social justice."
The truth hurts.
