War

Crimean parliament voted to rejoin Russia and scheduled a referendum in ten days. Now that's democracy in contrast to the anti-democratic, violent coup that overthrew the Ukrainian government. I doubt the US will support the decision of the voters if they vote to rejoin. I'm sure we'll hear the Russians forced the vote by occupying the country, but besides the obvious hypocrisy, the Russians don't need to force the vote.
"U.S. President Barack Obama took the first steps to punish Russians and Ukrainians involved in what he called "threatening the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine," ordering the freezing of their U.S. assets and a ban on travel to the United States."
In upside-down world, the US is constantly on the wrong side of history. EU does the same.

The most lawless president in memory says the Crimean referendum violates international law. Didn't take long for him to reject democracy in Crimea.
